CLI commands
tria sorts from the terminal with the same engine as the app. Everything lives in your space’s folder, so what you do here looks the same in the app, and vice versa.
The CLI is free and open source. It works with your own Anthropic or OpenAI key and needs macOS 14 or later.
Getting started
Save your key in the Keychain, create the rules in the folder you want to sort and drop documents in the inbox.
bash
brew install startcat/tap/triatria config --provider anthropic --set-key# to the Keychaincd ~/Documents/Businesstria init --template autonomo --lang es# or sl, hogar, --learntria sort# it proposes, you review and applytria undo --last# if something's not rightReference
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
tria init | Creates TRIA.md, PERFIL.md, the inbox and the duplicates folder. With --learn it proposes rules based on your folder. |
tria sort | Processes the inbox with a full-screen review. --auto applies only high confidence and exact duplicates. |
tria status | Inbox status, without calling the AI. |
tria undo | Undoes a batch: --last, or the batch you choose. |
tria log | The history of what’s been moved. |
tria rules | Validates the rules, generates a draft, or asks for a change in one sentence with ask. |
tria config | Provider, model and API key. |
tria eval | Measures accuracy against an already sorted archive, on copies. |
For scripts
Without a terminal, in a pipe or with --json, the output is plain text, with no colors or animations. The animation goes to standard error, so you can save clean proposals to a file.
bash
tria sort --dry-run > proposals.txttria sort --auto --json# for scheduled jobsExit codes
| Code | Meaning |
|---|---|
0 | Nothing left pending. |
1 | Documents still pending in the inbox. |
2 | Something went wrong. |
130 | Interrupted with Ctrl-C. Whatever was applied stays; tria undo undoes it. |
